Dawah les 2: Profetieën refereren naar welke Oude Testament? En welke is authentiek? En waarom?

1. Romans 11:26 correspondeert niet met de Septuagint, masoretische tekst of dode zeerollen. In romans 11:26 citeert Paul uit jesaja 59:20. (1)
2. Romeinen 10:15 correspondeert niet met de Septuagint, niet met de masoretische tekst en niet met de dode zeerollen. De referentie naar Jesaja 52:7 komt NIET overeen met de lezing in de ‘LXX’ noch de MT noch de DZR. De lezing in Romeinen 10:15 betreft volgende verschillen: 1) Het stukje “upon/on the mountains” ontbreekt in Romeinen 10:15. 2) De auteur van Romeinen 10:15 lijkt ook de passage te veranderen naar de meervoudsvorm terwijl dat niet in het geval is in de ‘LXX’, MT en DZR. “the feet of THEM” (Rom. 10:15), terwijl de ‘LXX’, MT en DZR “the feet of HIM” bevatten. 3) Het stukje “bring glad tidings OF GOOD THINGS” is ook niet te vinden in de ‘LXX’, MT noch de DZR. Blijkbaar bevatten ook de vroegste mss die Romeinen 10:15 bevat niet het stukje “Preach the gospel of peace.”.

(3) Galatians 3:17 citeert Paulus uit exodus 12:40 deze correspondeert niet met de Masoretische tekst noch met de Dode zeerollen. Het correspondeert met de Septuagint. In de cambridge school of commentary staat het volgende; , this reading reduces the period of the sojourn in Egypt to half of that stated in the Heb. text. The reading of Sam. LXX. was followed by St Paul in Galatians 3:17.

4: In zijn brief aan de Hebreeën citeert Paulus uit de Septuagint die niet correspondeert met de Masoretische tekst. Hebrews 10:5 citeer uit psalm 40;7. De christen commentatoren geven aan dat de septuagint lezing leidend is en ‘waarschijnlijk’ ouder dan de Masoretische tekst.

5: Matteus 2:5-6 is een referentie naar Micha 5:2. Als we de Septuagint, de Masoretische tekst en de dode zeerollen gaan vergelijken met de passage uit Matteus 2:5-6 kunnen we het volgende concluderen;

-De tekst die Mattheüs citeert bezit niet het woordje ’thousands’, maar ‘rulers’.
-De DZR bevat ’thousands’ en ook nog eens een negatieve statement ‘will NOT’.

Variant But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, being small among the thousands of Judah, Will not one come out of you out of you one will come out to me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings out are from of old, from ancient time [Micah 5:2 volgens de DZR]

-‘and you, o Bethlehem, IN THE LAND OF JUDAH, are by no means least among the RULERS of Judah; FOR FROM YOU SHALL COME A RULER WHO WILL SHEPHERD MY PEOPLE ISRAEL.”. Dik gedrukte teksten bevat varianten en het is aan de christen om aan te tonen welke manuscript het heeft genoteerd zoals Matthew 2:5-6, gezien het feit dat er staat; it is written. Geen enkele manuscript komt overeen met deze bewoording.

6: Lucas 4:17-18 refereert naar Jesaja 61:1. In de septuagint versie van jesaja 61:1 ontbreekt het stukje; “to set at liberty those who are opressed”, komt niet voor in de Septuagint.

In de dode zeerollen en de masoretische tekst ontbreekt het stukje;
Hierbij ontbreekt dus duidelijk het stukje; ‘recovering of sight to the blind.

Nu is wederom onze vraag aan de christenen van welke manuscript las jezus voor? Gezien het feit dat het niet in volledige correspondentie is met de septuagint, masoretische tekst en Dode zeerollen?

7: Matteus 12:21 die niet correspondeert met de Masoretische tekst noch met de Dode Zeerollen, maar enkel met de Septuagint.

8: Mattheüs 12:18 komt overeen met de Dode Zee-Rollen en Masoretische Tekst MAAR NIET Septuagint. (3)

9: matteus 2:15 citeert uit de Masoretische tekst. Enkel laat matteus het beginstukje van hosea 11:1, de gehele tekst is als volgt; “When Israel was a child then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. Het stukje; “when israel was a child then i loved him”. Is dus er buiten gelaten door Matteus omdat het niet strookt met diens theologie. Daarnaast spreekt de septuagint in meervoud of kinderen en niet mijn kind.

10:Handelingen 2:17-20 er wordt verwezen naar Joël 2:28-32. Stukje “and in the last days it shall be” is niet aanwezig in de MT, de ‘LXX’ noch de DZR. Vervolgens is er een ander variant. In Handelingen staat er “in those days I will pour out my Spirit AND THEY SHALL PROPHESY”. In de MT, ‘LXX’, en de DZR staat er enkel “in those days I will pour out my Spirit”. Het stukje “and they shall prophesy” ontbreekt. Ook in Handelingen 2:21 waar Joël 2:32 gequoteert wordt ontbreekt het stukje “For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the LORD has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the LORD calls.”, deze is aanwezig in de MT, ‘LXX’ en de DZR terwijl dit niet aanwezig is in Handelingen 2. (4)

Jesaja 59:20 “and The Redeemer will come FOR THE CAUSE OF [ἕνεκεν] ZION and He will turn away irreverence from Jacob” [LXX]

(2) Ook de ‘LXX’, MT en DZR bevatten onderling verschillen. 1) De ‘LXX’ verschilt van de DZR en de MT in het stukje “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him …”. De ‘LXX’ bevat “as a season of beauty upon the mountains, as the feet of one …”. 2) Ook nog eens een verschil in het stukje dat volgt: “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that WHO BRINGS GOOD TIDINGS, …” [MT & DZR] tegenover “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him WHO BRINGS GLAD TIDINGS OF PEACE, …” [LXX]. De MT & DZR bevatten beiden ‘who brings good tidings’ terwijl de ‘LXX’ ‘who brings good tidings of peace’ bevat. De MT & DZR splitsen ‘good tidings’ en ‘peace’ terwijl de ‘LXX’ dat lijkt te samenvoegen. 3) De MT & DZR verschillen ook nog eens onderling met betrekking tot het stukje “that PUBLISHETH peace; that BRINGETH good tidings of good news” [MT] en “who BRINGS news of peace, who PUBLISHES good news,” [DZR]. 4) De MT & DZR bevatten “that publisheth salvation” terwijl de ‘LXX’ het volgende bevat “for I will publish thy salvation”.

(3) Dode Zee-Rollen : 1 “Behold, my servant, whom I uphold;
my chosen, in whom my soul delights—
I have put my Spirit on him.
He will bring justice to the nations.
2 He will not shout,
nor raise his voice,
nor cause it to be heard in the street.
3 He won’t break a bruised reed.
He won’t quench a dimly burning wick.
He will faithfully bring justice.
4 And He will not fail nor be discouraged,
until he has set justice in the earth,
and the islands will wait for his law.”

Septuagint : 42:1 Jacob is my servant, I will help him: Israel is my chosen, my soul has accepted him; I have put my Spirit upon him; he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. 2 He shall not cry, nor lift up his voice, nor shall his voice be heard without. 3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench; but he shall bring forth judgment to truth. 4 He shall shine out, and shall not be discouraged, until he have set judgment on the earth: and in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

Masoretische tekst : 1 Behold My servant, whom I uphold; Mine elect, in whom My soul delighteth; I have put My spirit upon him, he shall make the right to go forth to the nations. 2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the dimly burning wick shall he not quench; he shall make the right to go forth according to the truth. 4 He shall not fail nor be crushed, till he have set the right in the earth; and the isles shall wait for his teaching. {P}

(4) Joël 2:28-32 “It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions. And also on the servants and on the handmaids in those days, I will pour out my Spirit. I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood, fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of Yahweh comes. It will happen that whoever will call on the name of of The Lord shall be saved; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be one who escapes, as The Lord has said, and the ones to whom The Lord has announced the good news, He has called. [LXX/Septuagint]
